We visited on April 5, 2025 around 1:00 - 2:00 PM and had wings - day trip from Winnipeg to celebrate a birthday - regardless, one of the best front end staff out of all the Smitty's in Manitoba we've been too (or even restaurants actually). “ I had an absolutely fantastic meal that hit all the right notes from start to finish! The chicken wings were perfectly cooked — crispy on the outside and juicy inside, packed with flavor. The bacon jam burger was the highlight — rich, savory, and deliciously indulgent. I swapped the usual sides for onion rings, and I’m so glad I did — they were golden, crispy, and seasoned just right. The Mediterranean salad was fresh, vibrant, and a great balance to the heartier items. To top it all off, the mojito was refreshing, and the apple dessert with ice cream was the perfect sweet ending — warm, comforting, and paired beautifully with the creamy ice cream. What truly made the experience even more special was the outstanding service. Manager Irenne and Manager Shira were incredibly approachable, kind, and attentive. “ I love breakfast food, it’s one of my favourites, and Smitty’s is up there with their breakfast platter This location was one of the good guys the hostesses are kinda weird, but they’re kids so it’s understandable but Madi served me and my partner and we didn’t feel she was being over the top or not enough. She was just enough! Included some photos of what I ordered so you could see some presentation of the kitchen, it all tasted wonderful, sausages were kinda sus but I never really eat those anyway. “ Won free mini donuts! Staff always have smiles, food is incredibly consistent, and the location is always clean. There are only a few options in Steinbach, but it's an easy choice. I'm fairly biased, but I always receive the best service from Kylee, Gracie, Hailey, Kendra, Gabriel, Mellissa, and Maddie. Especially Ally, she really goes the extra mile. Shera and Clay do a phenomenal job as well. Couldn't imagine how Smitty's exists without them. ”
